Last Minute Diwali Outfit Ideas
A Very Happy Diwali to you.
Is your Diwali shopping over yet? Or are you like me who did not manage to decide what to buy for Diwali. If so, worry not.
I have some Last Minute Diwali Outfit Ideas straight out of your closet. I know it is a little late. Luckily Diwali is not a one-day festival. You can still use these ideas for the days to come.
I created all these looks using a single bright skirt. The color of the skirt instantly adds vibrancy to the look, giving out happy festive vibes. This skirt is an Indian traditional skirt with block print all over it and a black and golden border.
You could create these looks even with palazzo pants or normal skirts.
Look 1: Embellished Top
For my first look, I paired this skirt with a cowl neck embellished top. The black color would go with any colored skirt and the embellishments on it add to the traditional feel.
To keep up with the festive vibes, I have paired this outfit with statement Jhumkas. I had them in Pink color so it went perfectly with the outfit. I paired them with matching golden bangles too.
I finished the look with boots. Well because they are comfy and trendy and were black.
Look 2: Metallic top
For this look, I paired my skirt with a golden top. This happened to be a blouse for one of my lehenga sari. Unfortunately, I could not find that sari as it was definitely at my home in Mumbai. So, I thought why not style it differently.
As I said, all these looks were created from simple pieces that you would find in your closet. The metallic top perfectly adds to the festive vibe. You could pair metallic top of any color for this look.
I paired this outfit with tribal jewelry which was gifted to me by my mom. That time I did not know when and how I would use it. Now I know. 😉
To finish the look, I wore golden embellished flats with it. The whole look feels so simple yet classy to me with a hint of rural vibe. This also reminded me of Chaniya Choli that we used to wear when we were small girls. Don’t you agree?
Look 3 : Statement necklace
For this look, I wore a black bodysuit. I am in love with body suits these days. They are so comfortable, stylish and most importantly, they accentuate your curves beautifully.
On this simple bodysuit, I added a huge stone necklace and voila, I am done.
The statement piece itself is sufficient here to create this royal and festive look. No more accessories required.
And since this look was so royal and glam, I added my black high heels to finish the look.
Look 4 : Traditional jacket
For this look. all I had to do was find a nice traditional jacket. I am sure you have many of them. I had just one. I had to make do with it.
So below this jacket I wore my same old bralette and look at the result. A sexy yet traditional look we have. And yes I paired them with
Ofcourse I added ethic jewellery pieces to it. They include, cute little oxidized metal jhumkas, matching bangles and neck piece. And yes I paired them with metallic brogues as you can see above. Coz hey they looked chic and were matching with my jewelery.
I hope you liked these looks and would try them in this festive season.
